King's Ransom

King's Ransom is twined with waxed polyester and waxed linen
thread. The basket has 96 spokes of waxed polyester. The
beads are copper dics, copper balls, handmade copper tubes
and size 8 glass beads. All beads slide onto the spokes and the
weaving after them causes the puckering that gives the basket
so much definition. The basket is 2-3/4" high and 3-1/2" wide at
it's widest point. This basket is for the more advanced weaver.
Skill of tension, shaping, even spacing and over all control of
the material is necessary for best results.
