Mexican Fiesta

Mexican Fiesta is a brand new basket and is twined with
waxed polyester. It has glass beads, size 11, and size 8. The beads slide onto the spokes as you weave. The beads cause the shape to accentuate into the puckers, which gives it the unusual shape. The variegated thread twined into the bottom is silk thread that has been hand painted with dyes. The basket is finished and then the top beads are added on with beading thread and are called "frets". It is a simple and fun process. This basket is for the intermediate/advanced weaver and basic skills in waxed linen/polyester are necessary.The finished basket measures 2-3/4" high and 3- 1/8" across at the widest point. The opening is 1-7/8" across.
