The Gathering - This wonderful basket just speaks of friendship and bonding in any language. The basket is done entirely in just two colors of cream and black. It is a simple design, yet so striking. This kit is recommended for the experienced weaver of coiling who has a firm handle on tension, spacing and neatness. The shape is truly a bowl rather than a tray. The swirling blocks are initially set up with a @Circle Guide, which comes in your kit. A diagram, plus written instructions help you build the people row by row. Once the basket is finished, the X design is added onto the rim. Materials are large paper rush and 4 ply silk thread. ...

Illusions - This very striking tray immediately draws you into the intriguing swirl pattern within.  The basic swirl pattern goes one way and the solid swirl pattern goes the other way. The tray is done with both open and closed coiling. The tray is all about technique, neatness and tension. Size 6/o black matte beads adorn the outer rim. Illusions is coiled with 4 ply silk thread and large paper cord. The tray is recommended for the experienced weaver of coiling. It really is a simple technique, but a firm handle on neatness and tension is a must here. Size - 4-1/2" across x slight curve - almost flat.

Chaco Gathering - This very striking tray simply draws you in. The warm colors of the Southwest give it an ancient look. Twelve people stand, holding hands, to form a bond. The variegated color creates step patterns which are later outlined in black. The outside edge is done in frets - which is an old Native American way of joining two pieces of leather together. This kit is recommended for the experienced weaver of coiling - having your tension, neatness down is a must for best results. Size - 4-3/4" across x almost flat

Ansari was created in October, 2006. I wanted to use just two threads yet make a tray that had a striking design. Many of the old Native American
baskets are done with series of blocks. By stacking blocks in different combinations, one can come up with interesting patterns. A circle guide will help you set the first three blocks on your Ansari tray and then each ascending blocks feed off the previous one. This basket is fairly easy but is done with two threads going at the same time. It is recommended for intermediate level and above. A beginner who has done 4 or 5 baskets could easily achieve this, as well. Size 2-7/8" across X 1/2" deep

Price $21.00

Beaded Babies: These brand new baskets are quick and easy to make. A few rows of coiling is done in the bottom center and then you start the
beads. If you have never coiled before, this is a good place to start. The baskets are "goof-proof" as they can be any shape you desire and your
shape is never wrong. You are supplied with a skein of variegated thread and a card of solid color thread. Each will make a different basket. Matching
beads are included with each. You can stop the basket when you reach the desired height and then add a few rows of solid coiling again to finish off
the basket. Kit has everything you need except scissors. Kit makes two baskets and is recommended for all levels.

Bojalee Coiled Basket measures 3-1/8" across X 1" deep. This basket gets comments where ever I go. It was created in the Spring of 2009, but the kit wasn't released until Feb 2010. It isn't recommended for the beginning weaver of coiling. You do need to have your tension and wrapping skills at a good level. There are various variegated colors to choose from with varying beads. All are pretty combinations.

Chasing Waves - This tray was created one day when I was playing with visual effects. Again, the contrasting colors really make the design stand out. The fun part of this tray is that when you finish the first arch - by using a simple thread to align things, you create the second arch going back the other way. Because the tray is growing, so is the design, which increases the effect. Recommended for all levels, but best if you have had some previous coiling experience. Measures 4 1/8" wide x 1" deep

Price $28.00

Chicopee Tray This uniquely Southwest tray is done in all the favorite warm colors that remind you of Arizona, New Mexico, etc. All of the beads were selected to enhance the colors of the four-ply silk threads. There are both glass and metal beads of several sizes, so the basket also has a textured look, as well. The tray looks difficult at first glance....... but, looks are deceiving. You build the tray, row by row. Once the first beads are in place, it sets the tone for the slightly oval look. A special tool to help you measure precisely is included in your kit. Each "next" set of beads are placed directly over
or between the previous set of beads and again, the tool for placement there for you to double-check the spacing.  Designed for the intermediate weaver and above. 5-1/4" across widest point ½" deep - depending on the maker

Price $38.00

Circle of Friends Tray was a Michigan Pre-Convention class in 2002. It is coiled completely with silk threads that are lightly waxed. Using beads and different threads, the center contains a star patten that is repeated and accentuated several times. This then causes the tray to become five sided when finished. This tray is a wonderful project for the  person who really enjoys coiling and wants to create an heirloom piece. The tray generally takes about 4-6 days to complete. The circle of people are created row by row to "build" the people. A really wonderful connection happens when you add the arms and connect the people together. The tray is done in the Native American colors of tans, black and deep red. The beads used are sterling silver and glass. The tray measures about 6" across. The tray is for the intermediate and advanced weaver who already coils. It is not for the beginning weaver of coiling. An
understanding of coiling terms and most of all, a rhythm of wrapping the threads will achieve the best results. Kits come complete with needles, wax, core material, cards of silk thread, picture and written instructions.

Price $36.00

3-3/4" across x 5/8' deep - Tray 1-3/4" across x 1-1/8 deep Basket Size and shape may vary depending on the weaver Coiled Beginnings - These baskets were created for the very beginning weaver who wants to learn coiling. The basket, itself, has no design and is coiled with only one thread. The shape may be any shape that you like - every shape is correct. The beaded edging is an old Native American technique. It is a very easy technique and you will want to do it again. A sheet of drawings walk you through getting started and also there is another sheet (drawing) showing you how to do the top beading - called "frets". The kit makes one basket. There are seven choices of colors and matching beads

Cuzco Coiled Basket - A simple stair stepped pattern - just two colors - , but oh, what it says. This striking basket has a definite Southwest look. The kit creates one of the baskets, your choice of the six or eight stair stepped design. A Circle Guide@ helps you to create them perfectly, so that they are evenly spaced. This basket is for the experienced coiler. Having your tension under control and your wrapping skills without overlapping are the keys to this basket. Large - 2-1/2" across - 1-3/8 deep Small 2-1/8" across X 1-1/4 deep

Price $24.00

Natchez - This sweet little basket is coiled with variegated thread over large paper rush. Both open and closed coiling are incorporated into the basket. Embellishment consists of glass beads and bamboo shaped genuine turquoise. This basket requires shaping skills, but instructions walk you through where and how to tighten to achieve this shape. Some coiling experience is preferred for best results. Size - 2-1/8" high x 2-1/4" across
