Baskets are a passion for me. I absolutely love making them. I like to create intricate, complex baskets. I like to do designs that are difficult to
achieve. As the designs are woven in, that keeps weaving life interesting for me. I most enjoy weaving when the basket looks exactly the way I want it
to look, as it is being created, I want the basket to flow.

Baskets can have a mind of their own when
they are being created. Certain materials dictate certain things
with the basket itself. Life that day, dictates certain things
for that basket. Each basket that I make is and always will be a
part of me. No matter where that basket travels, part of them
will be there also. It is satisfying for me to know that I bring
a certain amount of joy and beauty into other people's lives,
when they appreciate one of my baskets. |
